Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated research experience in flexible/stretchable electronics or soft materials.
• Strong background in design and characterisation of soft materials and device interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and characterise soft functional materials, films, and device interfaces for flexible and stretchable electronic devices.
• Develop soft and bio-derived functional materials and interface designs for reliable device performance under deformation.
• Conduct microstructural, chemical, mechanical, and electromechanical characterization including bending and stretching tests.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers to integrate soft-material solutions into flexible electronic systems.
• Assist in manuscript preparation, conference presentations, and grant development.
• Mentor junior researchers and support laboratory management.
