Job summary

NTU Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow to investigate mechanosensory and somatosensory circuits and neural coding. The successful candidate will conduct experiments and collaborate with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include developing behavioural assays, calcium imaging, genetic manipulations, data analysis and preparing publications. A PhD in relevant field and strong writing and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience, Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline.
• Experience in sensory neuroscience, neural circuits or neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Experience with animal models, electrophysiology, behavioural assays and genetic techniques.
• Proven ability to design experiments, analyse data and publish research findings.
• Strong scientific writing, communication and teamwork skills.
