Job Description

The laboratory of Presidential Young Professor Liu Yuxin in the Biomedical Engineering Department at National University of Singapore seeks postdoctoral fellows with strong enthusiasm and interest in flexible electronics, bioelectronics, wearable electronics and neurotechnology. Based on our previous developed solid-state epidermal biomarker sensing platform, we aim to develop skin-integrated wearable device that continuously provide critical biomolecular information for chronic disease monitoring and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary research project
• Designing printed circuit board for wearable electronic device
• Design and conduct research in flexible electronics, implantable electronic, wearable electronics and electrical engineering area
• Validating the bioelectronics in pre-clinical or clinical model
• Prepare and draft manuscripts for high-impact journals

Qualifications

(1) A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Flexible Electronics, Material Science and Engineering or related fields
(2) A strong interest in bioelectronics, wearable electronics and flexible electronics. Scientific curiosity and motivation to perform scientifically rigorous experimental work
(3) Designed a printed circuit board or an integrated circuit and have strong electrical engineering background
(4) Previous experience in wearable electronics is advantageous
(5) Excellence in conducting independent research with great critical thinking and experimental design. Interested in working in a multidisciplinary team and leading a multidisciplinary project
(6) Strong verbal and written communication skills in Englis
