We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow to join the Optical Bioimaging Lab at National University of Singapore. The candidates will be primarily responsible for the development of advance neural networks for fMRI and fNIRS image analysis. The role involves implementing, optimizing, and testing an innovative simplicial attention network (SAN), which is a deep learning approach for processing brain functional network data to predict single-domain cognitive functions. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to advanced mathematical solutions to addressing fundamental challenges in neuroscience.
He/she is required to:
• Implement, optimize, and testing advanced neural networks for brain functional data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical collaborators and engineers, to define requirements and ensure deliverable quality.
• Contribute to scientific publications, patent applications, and conference presentations.
• Possess a PhD degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or related fields.
• Research experience in development of deep neural networks.
• Strong programming skills.
• Excellent publication record.
• Able to present independently and in teams.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Open to fixed-term contract
