A leading hospital seeks a researcher with a PhD to investigate population health's relation to the built environment. Your role will involve developing proposals, overseeing studies, and leading a team, with opportunities for hybrid work arrangements, aiming to leverage health data for better care.
The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation, and evaluation activities in SingHealth. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.
You will support the centre’s signature research programmes to investigate the effects of the built environment on our health, and how the built environment can integrate health and social care seamlessly into our care ecosystem. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator and partners in developing grant proposals and study plans, and assist with study design and planning. Additionally, you will oversee the process and quality of the study execution, keep track of timelines and budget, and be involved in the preparation of abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and reports. You will also lead a team of junior research staff and provide technical supervision.
