Job description

ISCE2 is looking for a highly motivated candidate to join the Advanced Characterization and Instrumentation (ACI) Division. This candidate will play an important role to contribute to the following and ensure successful and sustainable operations for our ACI technical domains.

  1. Maintain quality management system and support material characterization requirements for technical domains: Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry and NMR, Physical and Thermal Characterization.
  2. Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Domain: HPLC, LC-QTOF, LCMS-MS, CIC, GPC, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GC, TD, PY, HS-GCMS, Gas sampling and analysis, etc.
  3. NMR, Physical and Thermal Characterization Domain: NMR, FTIR, UV, BET, SDT, TPDRO, EA, Rheometer, Tensile Testing, etc.
  4. Foster strong partnerships and close collaborations with both internal R&D and external key industry stakeholders.
  5. Demonstrated competency in managing analytical instruments, including applying specialized knowledge to build deeper understanding for method development, validation, and equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  6. Conduct analytical training for laboratory personnel, ensuring appropriate competency before certifying them as authorized users.
  7. Strong focus and compliance with health, safety, and environment requirements (laboratory safety, general housekeeping, chemical storage, waste disposal, etc.).
  8. Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various project stakeholders, both internally and externally, through routine updates, written reports, and/or meeting presentations.
  9. Participate in R&D project meetings to provide technical inputs as required.
  10. Some knowledge of electronic laboratory information systems that connect with analytical data handling or workflow projects will be an advantage.
  11. Procurement duties for laboratory supplies, equipment consumables, and maintenance services.
