Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Research Engineer (AI Infrastructure) to join the Global Frontier Tech Recruitment Program. You will contribute to the design and development of the large-model AI infrastructure powering TikTok’s search, advertising, and recommendation systems.

Qualifications

• PhD in AI/CS/CE or related field required.
• Strong programming skills with data structures and algorithms. Proficiency in C/C++ for traditional coding roles or Python for intelligent coding roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Recommendation and Search system architecture for TikTok.
• Ensure stability and high availability of the system and optimize performance of online services and data streams.
• Resolve system bottlenecks and reduce cost overheads; build common components and services of the system.
• Support rapid incubation of new products and enable ToB services.
