Heraeus Materials Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and driven R&D Staff Engineer (Thermal Interface Materials) to join our team. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of our thermal interface materials, which are critical components in various electronic and automotive applications.
Job Responsibilities:
Apply job experience and technical/engineering knowledge to execute project tasks with minimum supervision from team lead or manager.
Support internal and external customers on development, quality, technical and failure analysis requests.
Draft and plan executable timeline and methodology for projects assigned and prepare regular updates to management on project progress.
Execute product/process/application development projects with experimental design methodology using available tools to enable best solution.
Prepare and present technical presentations/reports for internal and external events/conferences.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal interface material development or a related area.
Experience in the electronics, automotive, or aerospace industries.
Publications or patents in the field of thermal interface materials.
Experience with thermal simulation software and tools is a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance related to thermal management materials.

Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and characterization techniques.
Extensive experience in thermal and mechanical characterization of materials.
Proven ability to develop and establish new applications and test methods for TIMs.

Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Engineering and statistic methods such as 6 Sigma, DOE, minitab, root-cause analysis, etc.
