Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia invites ambitious students to join our R&D Internship program in Singapore. You will work on research and development projects spanning process engineering, materials characterization, data analytics, and emerging semiconductor technologies, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced innovation environment.

This full-time internship for 20 weeks (January–June 2027) requires enrolled Bachelor/Master/PhD students, a paid placement, and an internship support

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor, Master or PhD program at a local university in Singapore
• Internship must be a mandatory or credit-bearing component of your academic curriculum
• Able to provide a valid internship support letter from your university for onboarding purposes
• Available for a full‑time internship with a minimum commitment of 20 weeks between January and June 2027
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Support research, product development, and engineering initiatives
• Conduct experiments, testing, simulations, and data analysis to support project objectives
• Assist in process characterization, optimization, and technology development activities
• Develop reports, presentations, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive project milestones and deliverables
• Support innovation, continuous improvement, and problem‑solving initiatives
