Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Science, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in drafting and reviewing research-related agreements.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, pharmaceutical/CRO, academic, or research environment.
• Strong knowledge of IP and commercialization is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and execute Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Research Collaboration Agreements (RCAs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), and Confidentiality Agreements.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between researchers, sponsors, and legal counsel.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and manage risks related to IP, liability, and data sharing.
• Compliance: Ensure all agreements adhere to institutional policies, federal/state regulations, and funding agency requirements.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior staff on contract negotiation strategies.
