Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.

Experience with structural fire engineering or experimental testing is advantageous.
Programming skills in Python or MATLAB; interest in AI applications.
Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct research on structural behaviour and fire resistance under fire conditions.
Develop numerical models and perform structural fire simulations using finite element software.
Assist in planning and conducting structural fire experiments and analysing test results.
Investigate structural performance, failure mechanisms and fire resistance through experimental and numerical studies.
Explore AI and machine learning applications for efficient structural fire analysis.
Prepare technical reports, research publications and presentations, and support project deliverables.
