We are seeking a Research Associate to lead experimental research on a three-axis atom interferometer serving as a non-drifting accelerometer at CQT, NTU. The role involves precision measurement development, system integration, and technology translation to navigation applications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Design, optimise, and operate ultra-cold atom interferometry experiments for multi-axis acceleration measurements.
Develop methods to suppress drift and enhance sensor stability for extended-duration measurements.
Integrate atom interferometer systems with control electronics, laser subsystems, and vacuum apparatus.
Supervise and mentor junior researchers and students in experimental techniques.
Publish results in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
Coordinate with industry and government collaborators to translate laboratory systems into field-deployable prototypes.
Requirements:
Master’s in Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.
Expertise in atom interferometry and quantum sensing systems.
Proven record of high-quality publications.
Experience in multi-axis inertial measurement and cold atom experimental platforms.
We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
