Join the laboratory of Dr Cyrus Mostajeran at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. We are seeking a Research Associate to contribute to the research agenda of the project ‘Geometric Optimization and Design in Learning and Robotics'.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtaining rigorous mathematical results at the interface of geometry, mechanics, and biophysics
Designing, implementing, and testing algorithms
Engaging in scientific exchange with collaboration partners of the project
Preparing reports, scientific papers, and presentations
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering
Knowledge of mechanics and related areas of applied mathematics
Enthusiasm for applying advanced mathematical tools and techniques to applications including robotics
Good communication skills
Experience in the use of programming languages and interest in the implementation of algorithms relevant to the project
