Job description

Prof Liu Xuewei’s group is looking for an individual who is talented scientifically and can help develop critical reactions to simplify the current total synthesis of natural products, carbohydrates and glycoproteins. The candidate can carry out unique research and publish high-quality research results, raising the profile and reputation of NTU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct various synthetic experiments on the research project.
• Conduct independent research and publish in reputable academic journals.
• Mentor junior master students and undergraduate students.

Job Requirements:

• BSc or MSc. (graduated in the past 5 years)
• Good English writing and communication skills are required.
• Good publication record is required.
• Strong record in the areas of organic chemistry; experience in carbohydrate/peptide/protein synthesis is a plus.
• Experience in writing research papers and communicating them to scientific journals
