The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at NTU Singapore hosts research and education activities in two divisions: Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) and Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP). MAS covers diverse topics ranging from pure mathematics to the applications of mathematics in cryptography, computing, business, and finance. PAP covers many areas of fundamental and applied physics, including quantum information, condensed matter physics, biophysics, and photonics. Join the laboratory of Kai Xue at SPMS. We are seeking a Research Associate to contribute to a project focused on Determination of Protein Dynamics using solid state NMR spectroscopy.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in biophysics or related field
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experiences in similar role / technical hands-on experience in protein expressions
• Familiarity with structural biology characterization techniques
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Interpersonal skill (e.g. Ability to work independently / develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details / excellent organizational / time management skills)
