An opportunity exists for a Research Associate to join the ASEAN Consumer & Internet team based in Singapore. The role will entail an understanding of companies in the Consumer/Retail/Internet space in the region. The role will require the candidate to support the Analyst in database management, financial modeling & analysis, client presentations and research report writing .

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining earnings models leveraging skills in accounting, finance and economics
• Keeping abreast of consumer/retail/internet industry-related news flow and on-the-ground trends
• Researching and writing reports focused on a company, sector or thematic
• Responding to requests for data and information from internal and external clients
• Assisting in the design and preparation of analyst marketing strategy and materials

Qualifications and Skillset

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Have at least 1 year of equity research or relevant industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of financial modelling with eye for detail required
• Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills
• Ability to effectively work with diverse cultures in a global team with sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultures
• Quick learner with an ability to work well within timelines
• Proactive with strong professional accountability
• Good communication skills.
