We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join National Dental Research Institute Singapore, the research arm of the National Dental Centre Singapore as a Research Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating workflow of the Singapore National Child Oral Health Study (SINCOHS), in addition to generating reports and conducting data analysis of the National data obtained from SINCOHS.
Responsibilities
Assisting the investigators to conduct the fieldwork at preschools and schools in collecting oral health data in children, in strict accordance with the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP) and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements.
Handling entry and validation of data into REDCap database, extracting the data from the database and liaising with the biostatistician to conduct data analysis.
Reporting of adverse events, maintenance of site files and other essential documentation.
Liaise with Principal Investigator, study team members and external stakeholders.
Organising and participating in weekly team meetings, and preparing presentations as required.
Planning and managing project budgets, tracking research milestones and KPIs.
Performing other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Requirements
Master’s or Postgraduate Degree in Science or related discipline with minimum 2 years of working experience.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Enjoys interaction with people to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively
Possess strong analytical thinking skills and abilities to learn fast
Proactive and meticulous individual who has outstanding organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Equipped with Microsoft office skills
