NTU is seeking a Research Assistant in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering to advance product design and engineering for quantum instruments. You will contribute to the miniaturization of NV sensors and support laboratory operations, with a focus on multidisciplinary research and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Quantum Engineering, familiarity with quantum technologies and AutoCAD, and strong communication skills.

We are looking for a research assistant to carry out the research project and be responsible for administrative and logistical upkeep pertaining to laboratory operations. The project is for product design and engineering for quantum instruments such as miniaturization of NV sensors. Experience in systems engineering and process optimization is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research activities related to product design and engineering for quantum technologies.
• Develop and prepare detailed product design drawings using AutoCAD.
• Apply optics and electronics design knowledge in the development and optimization of quantum technology systems.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Quantum Engineering.
• Familiarity with quantum technologies and AutoCAD
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated in multidisciplinary research
• Proven experience in product design, project leading and optics alignment.
