Research Assistant, School of Computing

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant / Research Engineer in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC). The Research Assistant will investigate AI-based adaptive, robust, and explainable intrusion detection techniques. While learning an AI model, the network traffic packet or sequences may contain various types of confusing information, such as irrelevant features or a large volume of noise, which can make the model non-robust and hard to explain. The Research Assistant will propose abstraction techniques on the captured information to remove noisy and irrelevant data, obtaining abstracted sequences that contain key information which can be used to build a high-quality and efficient model.
