The Signature Research Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention, and control of emerging pathogens. The key outcome of the research will be the early identification of new pathogens, leading to the development of new diagnostic tests, treatments, and control strategies.
The selected candidate will participate in developing mRNA vaccines against the dengue virus. The main goal is to establish a novel mRNA vaccine effective against all four dengue serotypes.
