The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) is a University Research Institute at Nanyang Technological University Singapore that conducts fundamental research on earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and climate change in and around Southeast Asia, towards safer and more sustainable societies. EOS is looking for a Research Assistant in the areas of natural hazards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyse data from natural hazards
  • Support the team in simulating natural hazards and critically evaluating results
  • Write technical reports, with the aim of publishing results in scientific journals
Requirements
  • BSc in relevant area, e.g. geography, computer science, physics, earth/environmental science
  • Experience with coding and GIS preferred
