Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Professor Nguyen Hung Minh Tan on developing new transformer models using optimal transport under a project on "A primal-dual framework for transformers: efficiency, privacy, and robustness".
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Develop robust and efficient transformers using tools from optimal transports
- Write 1 conference and 1 journal paper
- Do literature review on transformers and optimization
Qualifications / Discipline:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or related fields
- Have at least 1 publication at tier-1 machine learning conferences
Skills:
- Familiar with Python and Pytorch
- Good background on optimization and probability
- Good background on optimal transport
Experience:
- At least 6 months working on machine learning
- Has experience writing research papers in machine learning
