Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, or a related social science discipline.
  • Prior research experience in comparative politics or Southeast Asian studies (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in quantitative data analysis preferred.
  • Working knowledge of statistical software, particularly Stata and R, strongly desirable.
  • Detail‑oriented, self‑directed, and capable of managing multiple tasks across concurrent projects in a fast‑paced research environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English required.

  • Conduct and synthesize literature reviews.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of survey and experimental studies.
  • Support multi-country data collection and fieldwork.
  • Carry out qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for submission to peer‑reviewed journals.
  • Assist with interview coordination and transcription as part of ongoing fieldwork activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and implementation of survey and experimental studies
  • Support multi-country data collection and fieldwork
  • Carry out qualitative and quantitative data analysis
  • Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for submission to peer‑reviewed journals
  • Assist with interview coordination and transcription as part of ongoing fieldwork activities
