Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Assistant at the Healthy Longevity Translational Research Program and Department of Physiology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The Department has a strong Health and Biomedical Sciences program. Appointments will be made on a 1 yr contract basis in the first instance, with the possibility of extension.

Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant (RA) will work closely with the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of on-going projects. The RA’s principal role will be to assist the Research Fellow with experiments, as well as carry out other duties such as procurement and lab management.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who will be actively involved in performing:

• tumorigenic assays
• confocal microscopy
• flow cytometry
• cell biology and biochemistry assays
• genome screens

Additionally, the RA will assist with any other duties as delegated by the PI, namely procurement-related matters.
