About the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT)

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore brings together physicists, computer scientists, and engineers to do basic research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum phenomena. Experts in this new discipline of quantum technologies are applying their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing.

Job Description

The applicant will be in charge of an experimental platform for quantum processors with neutral atoms arrays, under the direct supervision of a SRF. In addition, the applicant will take an active role in the development of ultra-stable laser systems for Rydberg excitation and explore possible collaborations in this research area. Finally, the applicant will supervise a research team composed of at least a RA or a PhD student. The applicant will report on the progress to the lead-PI on a weekly basis.

Job Requirements
  • To have a Bachelor degree in Physics
  • To have a successful experience in atomic physics or related fields
