The Research Assistant will be a member of the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) research team, working under ACI Director, Professor Paul Cheung, to work on a number of research projects related to Asian economies.
The candidates should have experience in policy analysis and are familiar with socioeconomic development of Asian economies.
• Bachelor/Masters degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or equivalent
• Familiar with socioeconomic development of Asian economies
• Familiar with working on the large economic datasets for statistical analysis
• Demonstrate good organisational and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Able to multitask and manage tight timelines
• Able to work in a team as well as independently. Must be highly self-motivated
• Able to commit to at least 1 year of service
