Job description

You will be responsible for developing new formulations or optimizing existing formulations/products based on customer needs. This will involve conducting basic analytical characterization and industrial application testing in close collaboration with the technology team to execute in alignment with project/business goals and deliverables. Your role will require you to evolve as an impactful team player with good organizational citizenship and apply project and stakeholder management skills.Your key responsibilities will include assisting in developing silicone-based formulations for electronic applications tailored to customer requirements, supporting the characterization of formulated samples, and interpreting experimental data to understand structure-property relationships. You will provide execution support by working on multiple projects with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project timelines for delivering innovative technical solutions. Collaboration with diverse teams on various projects and coordination with other functions such as analytical, process technology, and intellectual property teams will be essential. Summarizing experimental results, documenting data as ELN, and preparing technical reports to build the knowledge database and safeguard experimental data will also be part of your duties. Effective communication with project stakeholders within CRD and Global partners verbally and in written form is crucial. Additionally, learning and adhering to safe work practices in the lab, as well as exhibiting and promoting proactive safe behaviors in lab activities, will be required.Qualifications for this role include an M.Sc. in Chemistry or a relevant discipline with 2-4 years of industrial experience in Siloxane chemistry and formulations.
