Job summary

UBS AG in Singapore is seeking an analyst to join the Research team. You will assess value and risk, build financial models and translate industry insights into investable opinions for clients.

The role requires 1–3 years in equity research, investment banking or accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English and Korean. You will engage with local and overseas clients and help shape investment ideas.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking or accounting background.
• a good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements.
• solid know-how of Microsoft Excel.
• excellent communicator, able to educate through the creation of innovative reports and presentations.
• ability to develop client relationships.
• inquisitive, organized and able to work independently.
• bilingual language skills in English and Korean to support local and overseas client base.

We’re looking for someone like that who can:

• conduct valuation analysis on specific industries
• convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
• build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
• provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
• remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies

The team :

You’ll be working in the Research team based in Singapore. The primary focus is to identify well researched, original and actionable investment ideas in the Asian markets, and to communicate them to the company's clients globally.

Your skills and experience :

• 1-3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking or accounting background.
• a good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements
• solid know-how of Microsoft Excel
• an excellent communicator, able to educate through the creation of innovative reports and presentations (you love this stuff and it shows)
