Job summary

UBS in Singapore seeks a CIO Equity Strategist to identify differentiated equity ideas and to work with regional and global teams to shape investment views. You will translate macro insights into actionable recommendations and monitor market trends for timely updates.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in equity strategy or research, strong financial modeling, and excellent presentation skills to diverse stakeholders. Fluency in English is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related discipline, with a solid foundation in macroeconomics and corporate financial analysis.
• 3-7 years of experience in equity strategy or research, asset management, or related financial services role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply factor and financial models and assess valuations independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to diverse audiences.
• Team-oriented with ownership and attention to detail.
• Cross-regional collaboration abilities.
• Curiosity about applying AI to improve workflows while maintaining sound judgment.

The team

You will join the CIO Equities team in Singapore, focused on identifying differentiated equity market and stocks investment ideas ahead of the market. You will work closely with our regional and to some extent also global teams, contributing via bringing important markets into global research and strategy.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, with a solid foundation in macroeconomics and corporate financial analysis.


• 3-7 years of experience in equity strategy or research, asset management, or a related financial services role.
