R&D Technician (12 Month Contract)

Tuas, Singapore | The Coca-Cola Company – Pacific Refreshments

Salary: Up to SGD $3,000/month (depending on experience)

Position Overview

As an R&D Technician, you will support product developers in creating and testing new beverage products. This includes prototype preparation, sensory and analytical testing, lab equipment maintenance, and sample handling. You’ll help ensure our product development process is smooth, efficient, and delivers high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare beverage prototypes under guidance to meet product specifications.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and analytical tests on beverage samples.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate R&D lab and pilot plant equipment.
• Record and report results while maintaining confidentiality.
• Organize and manage storage, packing, receiving, and shipment of samples and ingredients.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical QC/lab operations.
• Strong skills in analytical testing and lab equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, and ingredient stability.
• Ability to handle proprietary information with discretion.
