Job Overview :

Our client is seeking a Research Analyst to join their family office based in Singapore. As a Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting with investment decision-making by conducting thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence. You will work closely with the team to provide comprehensive investment recommendations and contribute to the achievement of the family office's financial objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and alternative investments.
  • Evaluate and analyse financial statements, company performance, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to identify investment prospects and risks.
  • Prepare detailed investment reports, investment memos, and presentations to present findings and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
  • Monitor and track existing investments, including performance analysis and regular updates on market conditions, industry dynamics, and regulatory changes.
  • Assist in portfolio management activities, including asset allocation, risk assessment, and performance evaluation.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in investment research and analysis

Key Requirements:

  • A polytechnic diploma, Bachelor's degree in finance or CFA qualifications.
  • Strong financial analysis skills with a deep understanding of investment valuation techniques, financial modelling, and quantitative analysis.
  • Proficiency in utilizing financial databases, research tools, and software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, Excel, PowerPoint) to gather and analyse investment data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare comprehensive investment reports and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
