Together, we can shape the future.**Job Description:****Role Purpose:******As part of the Business Services Team, this role is responsible for managing finance-related activities for our operations in Singapore, while also providing partial support to the operations in Malaysia.We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to support day-to-day finance functions, ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and contribute to overall performance analysis.Reporting directly to the Manager, Business Services, you will provide essential insights and financial documentation to support the Director of Operations Cluster and Director of Commercial Cluster in driving company performance in Malaysia.**Responsibilities:*** **General Ledger Management:** Prepare accounting records, validate cost allocations, reconcile transactions, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and properly maintained.* **Financial Reporting:** Lead the preparation of financial reports in accordance with IFRS, Sibelco Group reporting standards, and local statutory requirements (including financial statements, tax reports, and transfer pricing documentation). Analyze and summarize financial data to provide clear insights and support informed decision-making.* **Budgeting & Forecasting:** Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the cluster.
