Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to deliver accurate financial, management, and regulatory reports, maintain reporting systems, and support audits. The role requires MAS regulation knowledge and strong analysis to drive compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a finance or business background, banking experience, and proficient Excel usage, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in banking, preferably regulatory reporting.
  • Knowledge of MAS regulations (e.g., OTC Trade Reporting, MAS643A, MAS 656, MAS 755).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of AI, automation, and digitalization tools would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial, management, and regulatory reports to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance internal reporting databases and applications.
  • Coordinateand follow up on issues with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with team members to review and improve processes, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support various stakeholders on regulatory, audit and compliance-related requests.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives activities.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial, management, and regulatory reports, maintaining reporting systems, supporting audits and ad-hoc requests, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate should have banking regulatory reporting experience, knowledge of MAS regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.
