Job summary

Gevernova in Singapore's Asia Engineering Repair Development Centre seeks a fresh engineer to develop repair and inspection technologies, supporting qualification, validation, and industrialization with cross-functional teams.

You will build foundational knowledge in a relevant engineering discipline, apply practical expertise to repair-development activities, and collaborate to resolve technical issues while travelling up to 10% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding, Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic proficiency in CAD software, gained through education, internships, or work experience.
• Basic proficiency in standard computing and engineering software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Basic understanding of Lean methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time, based on business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop repair and inspection technologies and support process qualification, validation, and industrialization.
• Deliver new and updated repair processes and related programme requirements to repair facilities.
• Build foundational knowledge within the relevant engineering discipline and apply technical expertise to repair-development activities.
• Apply business knowledge gained through education, internships, or previous experience, while understanding how the team’s work contributes to broader organisational objectives.
• Resolve technical and process-related issues using established procedures.
• Consult supervisors or senior team members when issues fall outside defined instructions or parameters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
• For customer-facing activities, develop effective customer relationships, serve as a technical interface, exchange information, ask relevant questions, and confirm understanding.
