Job summary

Multiplier Holdings is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer to define and build the technical foundation for the Knowledge Intelligence Pod (KIP). This hands-on leadership role spans product engineering, systems architecture, applied AI, and reliability, with code, design, and mentorship responsibilities.

You will own core data models, ingestion and retrieval workflows, integration APIs, and scalability, while partnering with tax professionals and accountants to ship dependable, high‑value workflows

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software with staff-level leadership.
• Product-minded with close to users.
• Strong across backend, APIs, data models, UIs, and production debugging.
• Experience with applied AI and/or financial data workflows.
• Calm with ambiguity and ownership.
• Strong technical communication and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own core data model across documents, emails, uploads, and new sources.
• Harden the ingest, extract, correct, approve, search workflow.
• Extend APIs behind extracted data, provenance, corrections, and approvals.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and pairing.
• Raise the bar on testing, observability, and security.
