Alignerr is seeking a native-level Simplified Chinese Audio Transcript Editor for remote, hourly contracted work. You will clean up, correct, and polish transcripts to ensure precise character-level accuracy and timing alignment.

Work is fully remote with a flexible 10–40 hours per week schedule, suitable for independent contributors in a multilingual Singaporean environment. Prior AI experience is not required, making this a flexible entry point for language specialists.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Simplified Chinese reading, writing, and listening.
• Excellent listening skills to parse speech clearly.
• Extremely detail-oriented with a patient, repetitive precision approach.
• Able to follow structured style and timing guidelines.
• Self-motivated and reliable for independent work.
• No prior AI or tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio recordings and compare with transcripts in Simplified Chinese.
• Correct transcription errors, including wrong characters and missing words.
• Verify timing and alignment of transcript segments.
• Follow detailed style and formatting guidelines.
• Flag audio quality issues or segments needing review.
• Maintain high accuracy across large volumes of transcript data.
• Work independently on task-based assignments.
