Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Audio Expert - Malayalam for a remote contract role. You will evaluate AI model outputs in lyrics and voice generation, score musical training data quality, and compose/integrate music in the domain language to improve model outputs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer, a college degree in music, and native or near-native fluency in Malayalam and English. Immediate start for up to 6 months.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer.
• College degree in music covering performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Experience writing lyrical music in Malayalam for the domain.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Malayalam and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model output in lyrics and voice across music categories.
• Score musical training data quality to improve model performance.
• Write music in the domain language to improve outputs.
• Follow directions in English and work independently with flexible hours.
