Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The Music Audio Expert - Malayalam will evaluate AI model outputs in lyrics and voice generation, score training data quality, and compose music in Malayalam to improve model outputs.

This remote contract role requires 10+ hours per week, for up to 6 months, with flexible hours to meet project deadlines. Proficiency in Malayalam and English is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer.
• College degree in music covering performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Experience writing lyrical music in the specified domain language.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Malayalam and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model output in lyrics and voice generation across different music categories.
• Score the quality of musical training data to enhance model performance.
• Write music in the specified domain language to improve model outputs.
• Understand and follow directions in the English language.
• Work independently with flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
