Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Investment Banking Expert for a contract role. You will review AI-generated outputs related to financial modeling, valuation, pitch materials, and deal structuring, and you will create realistic scenarios across deal workflows.

Remote access is provided, and you will work with elite investment banking teams, with weekly performance bonuses and task-based pay. Prior bulge bracket or elite boutique experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience at a bulge bracket, elite boutique, middle market, or regional investment bank.
• Background in M&A advisory, equity or debt capital markets, leveraged finance, or restructuring.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate deal workflows into structured evaluation tasks.
• Clear written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to financial modeling, valuation methodologies, pitch materials, and deal structuring.
• Create realistic scenarios based on investment banking workflows such as deal screening, due diligence, and syndication processes.
• Annotate, label, and validate data across investment banking use cases like financial statement analysis and capital structure optimization.
• Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy in areas like SEC regulations, deal documentation, and financial terminology.
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for financial services AI.
