You will collaborate with a global team, conduct expert interviews, and ensure pieces are SEO-optimized and publication-ready. Strong English, research skills, and a skeptical eye toward wellness trends are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional health/wellness writing.
Portfolio demonstrating ability to simplify complex health topics for a general audience.
Solid understanding of anatomy, nutrition, and psychological well-being.
Excellent written English with attention to detail and clarity.
Commitment to evidence-based reporting and avoidance of pseudoscience.
Experience with WordPress or similar CMS and basic SEO knowledge.
Ability to meet tight deadlines while working independently.

Responsibilities

Produce 4–6 high-quality articles per week (800–1,200 words each) on fitness, nutrition, mental health, and medical news.
Monitor journals, health organizations (CDC/WHO), and wellness trends for story ideas.
Conduct research and interview dietitians, psychologists, and doctors for quotes.
Pitch original feature ideas and evergreen guides for durable readership.
Adhere to AP Style and internal editorial guidelines for consistent brand voice.
