Job summary

Freelanceshop is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to support critical security initiatives on a project basis. This is a remote engagement offering competitive hourly compensation where you will assess vulnerabilities, strengthen security posture, and provide strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities include conducting security assessments, identifying security gaps, and developing cybersecurity strategies. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in the field and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in cybersecurity consulting or security engineering roles.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Identify security gaps across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and policies.
• Provide risk assessments and remediation roadmaps.
• Support incident response activities including investigation and guidance.
• Review system architectures and recommend secure design improvements.
