Binance is seeking a Software Engineer - Blockchain Security to advance security for BNB Smart Chain and other chains. You will collaborate across teams to secure crypto projects and understand the broader crypto landscape.

You’ll contribute to architecture, APIs, and tooling that improve reliability, speed, and safety across systems. Strong Java/Python/Go skills and experience with distributed systems are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4–5 years of full stack development experience in large scale production systems, preferably 2–3 years in Crypto or Security.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, Go or similar.
• Familiar with distributed system components, caching, messaging, and related mechanisms.
• Independent system design experience for distributed, high-concurrency, high-availability systems.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, able to cope with stress and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design security-related products, define technical roadmaps, and implement core modules and frameworks.
• Define and maintain architecture standards, build/maintain tools to automate operations and improve productivity.
• Engage with user requirements, create APIs for delivery, and maintain customer relationships to improve satisfaction.
• Identify and solve issues in backend systems, ensuring performance and stability.
• Tune performance, troubleshoot incidents, and refactor systems to maximize speed and scalability.
• Design and build libraries and frameworks used by internal clients to speed up development and improve quality.
