Zusammenfassung

Binance is seeking a Backend Engineer for the Pay & Card team to design, develop, and maintain backend services powering crypto and fiat payment experiences globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure systems.

You will gain hands-on experience with high-throughput transaction systems, distributed architectures, and financial infrastructure while contributing to scalable payment services and merchant workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and CS fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Go, C, Python, or similar.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL, including indexes, transactions, and database design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP, networking, and client-server architecture.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services supporting Binance Pay and Card products.
• Build scalable APIs and microservices for payment processing, transaction management, merchant services, and related financial workflows.
• Participate in the development of distributed systems handling high-volume and latency-sensitive transactions.
• Work with databases, caching systems, message queues, and other infrastructure components to improve system performance and reliability.
• Implement robust transaction workflows with appropriate handling for retries, idempotency, concurrency, and failure scenarios.
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues through logs, metrics, tracing, and root-cause analysis.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to improvements in system reliability, observability, security, and engineering practices.
