We are looking for a Strategic Operations Lead to drive strategic business planning and operational excellence for the APAC REM organization, and collaborate with leadership to shape people engagement strategies, future-proof team competencies, and enhance regional performance. Planning and Business Management:
- Develop and oversee the REM APAC planning framework, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning forums (APAC and Worldwide), including Store Business Planning and Online Promo Planning, ensuring alignment with Apple Retail priorities.
- Represent and manage the APAC REM Plan of Record (POR) to drive alignment and readiness across all REM functions.
- Organize and lead leadership staff meetings, quarterly off-sites, manager pulse sessions, and GRS (Global Retail Support) key meetings.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure resources align with strategic priorities and operational needs.
- Support budget reviews and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
Data and Insights:
- Champion standard methodologies in integrating data and insights into REM's strategic decision-making processes.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to lead research portfolios, delivering actionable insights for APAC strategies.
- Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for implementing strategic platforms and custom research initiatives, including market-specific audience analyses.
People Processes and Organizational Design:
- Shape organizational vision and design for future success by collaborating with Leadership Team and People Business Partners to drive talent planning, calibrations, annual reviews, and employee survey initiatives that are aligned with REM APAC goals
- Work closely with leadership to define roles, competencies, and recruitment strategies that align with REM APAC growth objectives.
- Coordinate recruitment and talent alignment, including contractor resource planning, including business argument development and budget alignment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, operations, or a related field.
- 8+ years of proven experience in strategic and operational planning, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and deliver measurable outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of organizational strategy, with a passion for what makes Apple unique.
