Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks a RAM/ILS professional to drive through-life support capabilities for complex systems. You will collaborate with design engineers to embed RAM in designs and coordinate RAM/ILS deliverables with customers and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

You will also lead an ILS team of technical writers, trainers, and supply support professionals to ensure optimal system supportability and readiness across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Mechanical/Mechatronics with strong quantitative skills.
• Strong RAM/ILS knowledge is preferred; training will be provided if needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability (RAM) analysis to support through-life capability packages.
• Engage design engineers to influence RAM/ILS in their designs.
• Engage customers and contractors to ensure RAM/ILS deliverables are on schedule and meet quality.

• Perform Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability (RMS) analysis, to ensure an effective through life support capability package to support the System.
• Engage design engineers on design specifications and influence Reliability and Maintainability (RAM) in their design.
• Engage customers and contractors, and to ensure RAM and ILS deliverables are on schedule and of quality.
• Lead ILS team of technical writers, technical trainers and supply support management to ensure supportability of the Systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably RAM and ILS knowledge. Training / OJT will be provided, if not equipped with basic statistics skills.
• Preferably knowledge in either Automotive and/or Artillery systems.
• Meticulous in quantitative analysis and strong in statistical analysis.
• Good leadership skills and project management skills.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
