A prominent regional bank in Singapore seeks an experienced Relationship Manager to grow a portfolio of large local corporates. We are currently assisting our client — a prominent regional bankto hire an experienced Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of large local corporates with an annual turnover of SGD 300 million and above, including GLCs and TLCs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Client Relationship Management - Manage and grow a portfolio of large local corporates (annual turnover of SGD 300 million and above), including government-linked companies (GLCs) and top-tier local conglomerates. Build long-term, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
Origination & Deal Structuring - Proactively identify new business opportunities across existing and prospective clients. Lead the end-to-end origination process — from initial client engagement, needs analysis, and solution pitching to deal structuring, negotiation, and closure.
Product Advisory & Cross-Selling - Deliver holistic banking solutions tailored to each client’s needs, working across transaction banking, bilateral and syndicated loans, FX, trade finance, and capital markets. Collaborate with product specialists to deepen wallet share and enhance client value.
Credit & Risk Management - Prepare detailed credit applications and financial analyses, incorporating risk mitigation strategies. Monitor portfolio performance, ensure timely renewals, and flag early warning signs where applicable. Take full ownership of the credit process from origination to post-approval monitoring.
Internal Collaboration & Execution - Work closely with internal stakeholders across product, credit, legal, compliance, and risk functions to deliver seamless execution of transactions and ensure operational excellence.
Compliance & Governance - Uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance, ensuring full adherence to KYC, AML, and CDD requirements in accordance with MAS guidelines and internal bank policies.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Track Record:
At least 8–10 years of proven front-office experience in corporate banking or institutional banking, preferably with exposure to large local corporates and complex account structures.
Demonstrated ability to manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate clients.
A strong track record in client origination, deal execution, and expanding revenue streams across multiple product verticals.
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, corporate lending structures, and financial analysis.
Familiarity with corporate banking products such as working capital solutions, structured trade, treasury, and capital markets instruments.
