Relationship Manager - Fintech - SME Liabilities

Job Summary: As a Standard Chartered Bank Relationship Manager in SME Banking, you'll be responsible for managing and developing relationships with mid-sized and emerging corporates to drive business growth and meet the bank's strategic objectives. You'll provide exceptional customer service with financial solutions while managing operational risk and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve individual financial and non-financial targets by acquiring, growing, and retaining profitable New Age Enterprise Businesses.
  • Contribute to the team's overall target and optimize portfolio returns.
  • Build effective partnerships with Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, Team Managers, Segment Heads, and other support functions.
  • Deepen client relationships and generate fees by providing superior service for trade and Foreign exchange transactions.
  • Develop account plans with revenue and value-add objectives to meet profit targets.
  • Formulate strategies for acquiring startup and new age business accounts.
  • Track portfolio transactions and ensure proper due diligence of remitter and beneficiary.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Display exemplary conduct aligned with the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. Lead initiatives to achieve the Bank's Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Financial Markets, Financial Crime Compliance, and The Right Environment. Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues collaboratively.

Skills And Experience
  • Extensive experience in the startup ecosystem and client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and financial statement analysis.
  • Ability to assess client creditworthiness and communicate risk considerations.
  • Sound product knowledge of trade, cash, lending, and FX.
Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant banking experience in liability and transaction banking, preferably in startup and E-Commerce sectors.
