Job description

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic

To originate and promote AF business externally to customers in the APAC region. Internally, to grow and promote AF as a global sector coverage team with internal stakeholders

Financial

To structure, originate and execute deals by working closely with respective branches and other relative divisions to achieve team profit target as well as applicable KPIs.

Customer

Manage and develop relationships with existing and prospective AF's clients as sector coverage, with a view to originating mandates to lead debt issuance and arranging mandate with clients including but not limited to warehouse financings, portfolio financings, PDP financing, ABS-type transactions, JOLCO financing, and airline structured bonds (EETC private/public) as well as cross selling Organization's full product suite, such as global markets, trade and transaction banking, DCM and deposits.

People

To work and grow as a team. To provide guidance to junior staff to further enhance each individual's and team's potential and capabilities. Liaise and manage relationships with various internal stakeholders and contribute to GAFO as a global business platform.

Other / Control

To ensure that the transactions' risk profile fit the Bank's requirements and provide in-depth analysis and assessment of transactional risks or other related aspects of the transactions and obtain necessary credit approvals from Head Office. To monitor and ensure credit compliance for executed transactions that has not been transferred to GAFO Portfolio Management team (AIBD- AF-PM).To comply with relevant MAS regulations and applicable companies group policies.

Job Requirements:
  • Degree Qualified
  • Minimum 7 years' work experience in banking industry, aircraft leasing, consultancy firms, or similar industry
  • Experience in commercial Aviation Finance
  • Proven track record of closing deals
  • Well organised with an ability to work within tight timeframes and at prioritising multiple tasks
  • Attention to details and accuracy is essential
  • Numerate with strong computer skills including thorough knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Good team player and capable of working with cross-border teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills across all levels of an organisation - both oral and written
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently.
