Job summary

National University Hospital is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support therapists in clinical, administrative, and technical duties. The role includes setting up patients on therapeutic equipment, supervising activities, and aiding in fabrication of orthosis and devices for rehabilitation.

The position requires good communication, client-focused service, and teamwork within a busy hospital therapy department. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'A' level or ITE Higher NITEC or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented with a pleasant and cheerful personality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the therapist in setting up patients on therapeutic equipment.
• Assist the therapist in setting up, supervising and assisting patients in the performance of therapeutic activities/exercises.
• Assist the therapist in the fabrication of orthosis/devices necessary for rehabilitation.
• Tidy therapy area and assist with cleaning duties.
• Co-ordinate portering of patients to and from the department for therapy, and porter patients if necessary.
