Job summary

PARKWAY HOSPITALS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support therapists in preparing patients for treatment and implementing selected aspects of therapy under supervision.

The role also requires covering Administrative Assistant or Porter duties when needed and maintaining a tidy treatment area. Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers and daily living activities, monitoring equipment, and aiding in various therapy-related tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• WSQ Therapy Assistant cert or overseas physiotherapy qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in preparing patients for treatment.
• Provide coverage for Administrative Assistant or Porter when needed.
• Prepare patients for therapy.
• Maintain equipment and keep the treatment area tidy.
• Assist therapists in various activities, e.g. walking of patient, splint making, etc.
• Supervise patient in performing repetitive exercises.
• Assist in transfers and activities of daily living of patients.
• Provide coverage for Administrative Assistant / Porter, if needed.
• Monitor equipment / supplies on loan or for sale.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

WSQ Therapy Asst cert or non-recognised Physio qualifications from overseas
